The FA Cup 2015-16 is the 135th season of the world’s oldest football knockout competition; The Football Association Challenge Cup,
or FA Cup for short. Emirates are sponsoring the FA Cup for the first season.
This page lists full details of the competition from the Extra Preliminary Round onwards.
The competition commenced on 15th August 2015 with the Extra Preliminary Round and concluded 21st May 2016 with the Final,
being held at Wembley Stadium. Last season, Arsenal beat Aston Villa 4-0.
As is the custom, the Top and Second Flight teams (Premier League & Championship) entered the competition at the Third Round stage, which was played in the first week of January 2015.
The FA Cup Winners qualisies for the Group Stage of the 2016-17 UEFA Europa League.
