The Football Association Challenge Cup – FA Cup- is the oldest football competition in the world beginning with FA Cup 1871–1872 season.
The chart lists the round by round progress of every club who entered the FA Cup in 1871 to the formation of the Football League in 1888.  The Wanders won the first 1871-72 FA cup and subsequently four more times till the formation of the football league in 1888.
